I use to think that lighting a candle before or during a showing was a great idea, and something everyone loved!

it's not that great to have all these different scents going in your house, the only scent you should be aiming for is CLEAN! Start scrubbing your house from top to bottom and that's the scent that's going to attract buyers.

There's a lot of people out there that have sensitivities, and take it from me; I learned the hard way when I had my house on the market... As embarrassing as that is. I know the scent doesn't come with the sale, but some people have a hard time looking past it.
